- Unclear and ineffective laws and regulations - laws that are continually flouted are usually
‘bad’ laws and need review
- Unreasonable policing of laws
- Inequitable sharing of public space for dog owners –
particularly off-leash with an over-reliance
on sporting ovals
- Leash length laws
- Increasing development of parks and pathways (see maps page)
- Non-consultative decision-making by Council regarding
pet issues
